One of my favorite gothic horror novels worth checking out is The Haunting of Hill House. As the group spends more time within the walls of Hill House, they begin to experience unexplainable phenomena—apparitions, ghostly whispers, and an overwhelming sense of dread. The story navigates the horrors of the mind and the haunting influences of the house, leaving readers in a state of unnerving suspense and fear. As they delve into the case, the island's foreboding atmosphere and the disturbing secrets hidden within the institution start to unravel.
