A bus carrying 52 passengers overturned on the C-32 motorway in a tunnel between Pineda de Mar and Tordera, Spain, resulting in five injuries, including the driver, who was trapped. The accident halted northbound traffic, and the road may remain closed until Wednesday.
The bus, operated by Monbus and transporting workers to Inditex logistics centers in Tordera and Palafolls, was quickly evacuated. Three passengers, in more serious conditions, were airlifted to hospitals.

In response, Civil Protection activated the Procicat emergency plan. The Emergency Medical Service (SEM) deployed 15 units, a team of psychologists, and two medical helicopters. Firefighters arrived with 24 vehicles, including GRAE rescue units, while the Police (Mossos d'Esquadra) dispatched eight patrol cars.
